Alex really wants to be out of our house by 4 or 5 o clock this evening. In the mean time I needed to work today so after 9:30 this morning I was no help to the packing initiative. The cleaning and packing is going well though. We scrubbed down the bathroom and kitchen floors completely emptying those rooms out. After that since we were totally exhausted we went to bed. I can't wait to not be sleeping on the floor anymore. One week of sleeping on the floor feels significantly longer than it really is.
Alex got an e-mail the other day from the makers of Yomes. http://redskyshelters.com/ They are based out of PA and offer a 19foot yome, which is a cross between a yurt and a dome. Now we are considering buying a Yome to live in and then making our Yurt for use as a studio for Alex and me. The Yome has significantly more windows, and is also significantly cheaper to purchase fully made. With my approval Alex e-mailed the Yome dealer back, so now we are just waiting for a price so that we can decide whether we want to go forward with our Yome purchase. Check them out, they are actually adorably cute...
